Our management team is an experienced group of individuals, with a long shared history that we continue to build upon. Prior to joining the firm, each member of the management team worked with Steve Gross, AlphaParity’s Founder and Chief Investment Officer, in various capacities.

Mr. Gross is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of AlphaParity, LLC. Previously, he was a Portfolio Manager at Tudor Investment Corporation with a focus on global macro and derivatives alpha strategies. Prior to his tenure at Tudor, Mr. Gross was a partner at Penso Capital Markets, a global macro and tail risk management hedge fund firm, and a Portfolio Manager at Millennium Partners a multi-strategy hedge fund. He began his career at the New York Mercantile Exchange as a proprietary trader. Mr. Gross was a recipient of a Rising Stars of Hedge Funds award by Institutional Investor in 2009.
Mr. Smith directs the research used in the development of investment, risk, and execution models used in AlphaParity, LLC’s strategies. Previously, Mr. Smith worked with Mr. Gross and other senior portfolio managers at Tudor Investment Corporation as a quantitative analyst. Mr. Smith began his career at Tudor in 2007, and initially applied his programming and modeling skills to the middle office and operations departments at the firm. Mr. Smith is a CFA Charterholder and graduated from Susquehanna University with a BS in Business Administration, Emphasis: Finance.
Jeff Silverman is AlphaParity, LLC’s President and Head of Business Development. Prior to joining AlphaParity, Mr. Silverman was a Partner and the Head of Strategic Development for Perella Weinberg Partners’ Asset Management business, where he led the group's alternative investments product development strategy. Prior to PWP, Mr. Silverman was a Partner and the Director of Investments at Tudor Investment Corporation, where he directed all aspects of investment team recruiting/hiring and strategic external investments. At Tudor, Mr. Silverman was responsible for expanding the business globally, leading the build-out of trading operations and product extensions in Singapore and Sydney. Before Tudor, Mr. Silverman served for seven years in various positions at Goldman Sachs. Most recently, he was a Vice President in the Prime Brokerage group, where he was a senior member of the Arbitrage and Leverage marketing team. Prior to Goldman, Mr. Silverman traded agricultural commodities at Morgan Stanley. Earlier in his career, he was an options volatility arbitrage floor trader in London as a member of the International Petroleum Exchange and the London Commodity Exchange. Mr. Silverman received a Bachelor of Accountancy from The George Washington University.
Mr. McGraw is the Chief Operating Officer of AlphaParity, LLC. Previously, he was the Director of Business Development at Strategic Fixed Income, L.L.C, a $2.5 billion institutional investment firm. Prior to joining Strategic, he was an Investment Manager at Man Global Strategies, where he was responsible for over $2.0 billion in seeding and strategic deals with alternative investment managers. Mr. McGraw began his hedge fund career in 1994 as Assistant Trader at Bacon Investment Corporation, which folded into Moore Capital Management, and subsequently held senior allocation and operations roles at Tower Capital Management and Covenant Capital Management. Mr. McGraw holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Pace University.
